Software Development Manager (Microsoft .Net, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Agile)
Bridgend
Up to GBP60,000 depending on experience plus benefits
An excellent job opportunity has arisen for a skilled Development Manager to join my exclusive client in Bridgend on a permanent basis. You will join a highly successful and growing organisation that has been trading for over 30 years. You will be responsible for managing a team of around ten staff, which includes Microsoft CRM Developers, Microsoft .NET Developers, Oracle Developers and Testers. You will report into the IT Director and you will contribute to the overall running of the IT function within a rapidly growing organisation.
We are looking for an experienced and strong leader who is commercially focused, with a proven track record of delivering excellent results to tight timescales. You should have proven experience of managing similar sized teams and you should also ideally have a background in Microsoft technologies. My client has recently implemented Agile methodologies so you should ideally have previous experience of managing teams within an Agile Scrum methodology.
You will take sole responsibility for driving the development strategy forward at a time of great change and expansion. You will be responsible for leading a number of business critical projects. This will include overseeing a multi-million pound investment in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, which will cover mobile, websites and customer service. You will be responsible for overseeing the integration between the newly developed CRM function and the Legacy Oracle platform, in addition to managing the .NET Development function.
