Cisco Network Engineer (CCNP)

Network Engineer based in Cardiff - CCNP paying GBP40k to GBP45K (plus car allowance and excellent company benefits).

The Role:

I am currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity working as a Senior Network Engineer for our industry leading client based in Cardiff, South Wales, with regular travel to client sites in and around the South Wales area. The position will be project based, focusing on high-end networking projects. To apply for the position you will be expected to be at least CCNP certified, with experience designing large scale and often complex networks.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven current Cisco certification to a minimum of CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional in Routing & Switching) level
  • Experience of working with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) telephony
  • Experience of working with a private fibre network, wireless access points, structured cabling
  • Proven track record in the management and delivery of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) projects in a commercial environment
  • Good analytical and diagnostic skills, and ability to assess the criticality of each fault or combination of faults and recognise the likely operational impact
  • Ability to write business processes and produce management information reports

Role and Responsibilities:
