A professional Software Developer is required to join a market leading organisation on the south coast to add value to their current team and be involved in maintaining their internal systems and developing new software solutions for commercial release.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Classic ASP and Microsoft SQL Server. They will have commercial experience using C# and Asp.NET and be experienced in creating web applications. They will have exposure to, or have a desire to learn MVC.

This organisation is happy to aid in the professional development of their staff and you will be offered the chance to up skill in the latest web development technologies. They are looking to migrate their internal systems to a .NET web platform so exposure to both sets of technology is highly desirable but candidates with strong Classic ASP skills alone will be considered.

You will ideally be educated to degree level in programming, software engineering or other relevant IT related subject however those without this experience will also be considered.

Technical Summary:

Minimum 2 Years commercial development experience using Classic ASP
Knowledge of the entire SDLC
HTML, CSS and JavaScript
SQL and SQL Management Tools

Desirable Skills
Commercial development experience using C#, Asp.NET
JavaScript Libraries such as jQuery or Prototype
Experience with MVC/Asp.NET MVC Webforms
