Hays are currently assisting a world renowned University in their search for a Senior Applications Analyst. The University currently provides exceptional educational and research services to a user base in excess of 20,000, investing in leading edge technology to ensure the best talent is attracted.

Working within the Application Services department, your primary focus will be to support the Universities HRMS and Payroll systems and their associated user communities. You will provide systems maintenance, upgrades and tests and use your problem diagnostic skills to act as a subject matter expert.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity to work in a rewarding environment, the successful applicant will have:

* Oracle HRMS and Payroll system functional and system administrator experience
* Experience in providing support across the full application life cycle with knowledge of MS SQL and Oracle (SQL Server, other)
* Experience of developing/implementing Oracle Report Builder or BI Publisher report into HRMS
* Excellent communication and problem diagnostic skills
