I have an opportunity working for a leading consultancy going through an exciting phase of growth. My client is currently looking for a 2nd line SOC Security Analyst to join their team. As the 2nd SOC Security Analyst you will provide technical support for managed service customers. You will have a proven experience as a Security Engineer delivering customer support in a SOC/NOC environment, strong networking skills (CCNA/CCNP), a broad understanding of technical architectures, an up to date understanding of latest cyber threats, a good awareness of common security vendors and products, an awareness on current security challenges and solutions in areas such as application delivery and next generation Firewalls.

Key skills and experience

*Providing 2nd line support - Incident/Problems/Changes
*Experience in any of the following vendors Checkpoint, F5, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Bluecoat, Cisco
*Provide guidance to adjacent support tiers
*Identify, resolve and report security issues - including updating documentation
*On call for escalation as part of a second line support team
