The Role:

The Role is to be responsible for leading, planning and execution during the delivery of an OpenText implementation and pre sales engagements.

The Skills:

• Strong knowledge of concepts such as Enterprise Content Management, Document Management, Business Process Management, Records Management, Metadata and Taxonomies.
• Experienced in documenting requirements and technical design of OpenText environments.
• Experience with system sizing, planning, clustering and implementing High Availability/DR in an OpenText environment
• Solid hand on experience in installations of OpenText Content Server, Archive Server and Document Pipelines.
• Experience with the connections to SAP and familiar with the SAP Add-ons customising.
• Knowledge of security, administering users, groups and permissions in OpenText Environment.
• Familiar with customisation using Content Server Application Programming Interface and Web
• Services.
• Monitoring, fault correction, patching, backup and other administration activities to meet SLAs.
• Have good knowledge in SAP Data Archiving would be a bonus.

The Candidate:

Possess good technical knowledge of Web Servers such as IIS and Tomcat, Networking and Enterprise Content Management Systems. Knowledge of SAP Basis would be a positive.
This role is to provide solution and technical design support to SAP ECM implementation projects, including assistance with the installation of OpenText applications, technical project support, documentation, system and application integration with SAP, data migration and conversion when needed, security, performance tuning, and knowledge transfer.
A good understanding of the OpenText solutions, SAP Basis, SAP Data Archiving using ADK, SAP Add-on Installation Tool (SAINT), SAP Data Retention Tool (DaRT) and its capability combined with technical strength in planning, deploying, configuring and administering various OpenText environments.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with clients in a range of interaction scenarios including workshops and focus groups to build requirements. Evidence that the candidate keeps pace with OpenText and SAP Archiving will be sought.
