Our client, a major telecom company are offering the position of Retail Sales Manager based in Reading (UK), who will assist the Account Director to execute the company's field and retail marketing strategies in the account, responsible for monthly sell out target achievement.

Retail Sales Manager Job Description:

  • Responsible (with the Account Director) for defining yearly and monthly sell out target, and developing and implementation of a retail and field marketing sales strategy for the account, in line with sales plans and objectives
  • Responsible for driving transactions through eCommerce/on-line retail solutions and increase transaction volumes with a robust marketing execution in account
  • Focus on deal generation across retail on-line/offline and affiliate channels
  • Develop and implement monthly and quarterly promotion plans for devices based on sales objectives
  • Pro-actively identify opportunities to reinforce brand through retail and field activities to key audiences and take these forward through planned and new retail marketing initiatives
  • Manage agreed budgets for specific marketing spend/promotions
  • To be the Retail marketing point of contact for customer and partner relationships, maintaining a calendar of activities/promotions and ensuring that this dovetails appropriately with the overall GTM plans in account
  • Lead and manage the end to end production of promotional activities
  • Work with the Account Director where applicable to maximise the look and feel of all retail POS and activity across all parts of the customer journey to create a uniform experience through the line
  • Support the maintenance of the App by regularly providing updates of channel marketing activities

Retail Sales Manager Skills & Experience Required:

  • First class work ethic with 100% commitment to the success of the team
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, motivation and presentation skills
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage projects from inception through execution
  • Experience of working within and managing an international team
  • A hunger to learn and ability to flourish in a dynamic, high-growth environment
  • At least 6-10 years retail marketing and/or field execution experience
  • Significant BTL marketing experience in a retail environment
  • Significant previous experience in a mobile telecoms role with experience and contacts across the major UK networks and manufacturers.
  • Experience of eCommerce
  • Experience of working with or within a mobile manufacturer or network (required)
  • Degree qualified with a professional marketing qualification
  • Fully proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, languages an advantage.
