Our client, a major telecom company are offering the position of Senior Solution Manager based in Ipswich (UK), who will develop operator business and create new opportunities, construct customer relationships in the operators as pre-sales role and set up the branding and marketing events in communication industry.

Senior Solution Manager Job Description:

  • Make fixed broadband solutions for the customers.
  • Build up the networked customer relationship in the technical and business levels.
  • Develop new business, opportunities and projects in the overall operator networks, Identifies, evaluates and recommends marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives.
  • Develop specific brand and marketing plans and activities for specific product(s) or product line(s) to establish, enhance or distinguish the company and product brand, including forums, exhibitions, and technical workshops.
  • Be responsible for the product/solution sales revenue.
  • Be responsible for the operator competition complexion.
  • Establishes commercial strategies and solution strategies.
  • Promote the success of the major projects.
  • Based on market demand and corporate solutions strategy, formulate and implements the customer-oriented total solutions.

Senior Solution Manager Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor or higher degree in administration of Telecommunication, computer science or related telecommunication discipline
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, Excel, Power-point.
  • Above 3 years working experience in related UK industry.
  • Business case analysis and competitive analysis in strategy and products marketing is an asset;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills or total solution composing.
  • Fluent (reading and written) English and be able to travel domestic
  • Must be hard-working and welcome challenges.
  • Must be a team player with management skills.
  • Must be aggressive, self motivated and result driven.
  • Must be proactive and responsible.
  • Good oral and written communication, interpersonal skills and fluency in both English and Chinese.
  • Good time management with the ability to organize and prioritize own work load with minimal supervision and work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to create/process documents and records accurately with strong attention to details.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and work both independently and cooperatively as part of a team;
  • Ability to adapt to a changing workflow and work flexibly.
  • Willing to grow with the company together.
  • Working experience with world leading telecom manufacturer or in telecom industry is an advantage but not essential.
  • A good sense in solution marketing; multi-network and product knowledge, and good understanding of them are preferred.
  • Existed customer links holding people preferred.
  • Stable working in the office or with customers.
