Media Sales Manager

An experienced Media Sales Manager is sought to join a leading business-to-business media company in Fareham, Hampshire, to work on the No.1 publication in its market. The company publish magazines and produce exhibitions, conferences and websites, predominately serving the commercial marine sector. Established in 1989, the company has 50+ employees. Their magazines have pan-European, or international readership bases.

The Media Sales Manager will plan and carry out sales activities so as to maintain and develop sales of the brand portfolio, online and magazine, to UK accounts in accordance with agreed business plans.

Title: Media Sales Manager
Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Salary: up to £25k per annum basic salary, plus commission, OTE £40k+

The Media Sales Manager role will include the following responsibilities:
- Selling advertising packages and solutions
- Attending exhibitions and events to network and create new client opportunities
- Client relationship development, in order to meet and exceed targets
- Creating new business sales opportunities via outbound calls

The ideal Media Sales Manager will possess the following skills and experience:
- A proven track record of working in a B2B sales role, and exceeding targets
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to perform excellent client management
- A positive, can-do attitude, with a willingness to deliver both personal and team goals
- A commercially astute working attitude
- Effective communication skills, being able to converse with a variety of people at varying levels of seniority

As a Media Sales Manager you will need to be self-motivated, flexible and driven. With individual sales targets to achieve, you will need to be prepared to go the extra mile to ensure success.
