We have an excellent opportunity for a Tyre Fitter looking to further their career with a fantastic Dealer Group and Brand.
Type of Role:
This is a full time permanent role
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
To carry out the fitting of tyres efficiently and competently to brand standards
To carry out all work provided competently and within the times laid down by the workshop controller, or in times acceptable to the workshop controller and service manager
To attend internal and external training courses as directed by the management
To keep place of work tidy and in a clean condition
To ensure parts for Warranty claims are retained, cleaned and returned to the Parts Department
To be prepared to work overtime, with reasonable notice, if requested by the management
To ensure that the vehicles worked on are carefully handled and that all reasonable care is taken of that vehicle on the premises for repair or service (inc Floor mats, seat covers and steering wheel covers are used at all times)
To maintain and develop skill level in all aspects of tyre fitting technology
To maintain thorough and current product knowledge and read all services information and service news bulletins as supplied by service management
To stock check tyres on a daily basis
To keep stocks at an optimum level to satisfy customer supply needs
To book stock in and out keeping to discount and profit guidelines laid down by the parts and service manager
Skills & Experience:
Aptitude for multi-tasking.
An eye for detail.
Ability to work under pressure.
Quality awareness.
Communication skills.
Full driving licence.
