Senior Change Manager

Our client, a large financial services company, based in Edinburgh, are currently recruiting for a number of permanent Senior Change Manager roles to join the team based in Edinburgh.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organising, controlling, and delivering a number of large, simultaneous business-level projects within a set portfolio. You'll achieve this by coordinating the efforts of project teams, or by managing large projects on your own.

This will also require you

- Provide input to the business strategy and prioritise the workstream portfolio, managing research to determine and quantify solutions that meet strategic fit
- Act internally as a project management expert, providing specialist knowledge and support to project teams to shape business development and resolve business issues
- Develop, maintain and use business and organisational awareness and technical knowledge to influence business strategy and strategic fit that supports change
- Liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders up to a senior level to ensure successful, sustainable change

These roles require strong experience of change management, recognised as a programme management practitioner with experience in a relevant area of expertise across multiple delivery platforms.

You'll need change experience within the financial services industry, preferably with a focus on commercial and private banking or change experience on a large scale government programme.

You'll also need:

- Project Lifecycle planning and delivery of large high priority projects, with a proven track record of end to end delivery
- Commercial acumen with a track record of delivering to budget and within timescales
- Experience of managing teams of various functions, and the ability to lead projects over the line
- An understanding of risk concepts
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to persuade and influence up to a senior level
