Strategic Account Manager - Constructionline part of the FTSE 100 Company - Capita South!
Salary between GBP45,000 - GBP50,000 with up to OTE of 15k - GBP20k plus company car!
Role is Home based with travel to sites predominantly in the South as well as throughout the UK.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role will be:-
- First level prospecting and the direct targeting of Supply Chain Directors, Commercial Directors, Business Development Directors etc. The prospecting activity will be underpinned by a strong knowledge of the organisation enabling the development of compelling arguments and propositions which is likely to include Board Level presentations and direct engagement with E-procurement vendors, operations, marketing etc to provide a holistic offer.
- It is recognised that the current high volume, high value accounts are pre-dominantly located in the private sector and especially the Main Contractor segment. The current market conditions are very favourable towards our proposition with the limiting factor currently appearing to be internal, namely a lack of critical mass of Senior Resource to drive the customer acquisition.
- The Strategic Account Lead will also provide intelligence to the Senior Management Team to include competitor activity, development opportunities, pricing etc.
- Delivery of the above will be supported by the Business Development and Client Relationship Teams.
Essential Skills:-
- Proven sales track record at a Senior Level to include direct acquisition of new blue chip clients up to Director level - field based
- Ability to influence and co-ordinate across all areas of the business including local sales team
- Strong analytical skills, including account mapping
- Proven track record of business achievements within a commercial environment
- Ability to transform the clients need into a realistic project to meet the clients expectations
- Dominant traits will include the likes of need for advancement, need for achievement and a strong driver to identifying and addressing challenge
Desirable Skills:-
- A wide network of contacts within the Construction Industry
- Understanding of Procurement Process and/or Supply Chain Management
- Degree level with ability to demonstrate analytical capability
