We have an excellent opportunity for a technical author to join our innovative, lively and growing technology client who is definitely going places. As part of this exciting role within a small, friendly writing team, you will produce, maintain and update a range of documentation including user guides, white papers, installation, configuration and deployment guides, user interface documents, and API documentation. You will also have the opportunity to contribute your ideas towards the company's documentation and processes going forwards.

As the successful candidate, you will have:

• Experience as a technical author in a software development environment.
• The ability to learn complex technical concepts quickly, and write clear, concise documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Good analytical skills.
• Good experience with online help systems, HTML, Acrobat, and MS Word.
• An awareness of developing documentation for non-native English speakers.
• The ability to work well in a technical environment, where tools, processes and deliverables are not necessarily defined.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ideally, experience in networking/telecoms environments.
• Ideally, a degree in a technical discipline, such as science, engineering or computing.

Any understanding of DNS, LDAP, Routers, communications products etc. and/or MadCap Flare would be advantageous.
