Job Title: Change Manager

Location: Leeds, Rawdon, LS19

Salary: Up to £40,000pa dependent on experience

Job Role:

As a Change Manager you will assess and authorise all change relating to the company’s Hosted Services environment including IT Infrastructure and the company’s clinical IT software service and drive the adoption and improvement of Operational change activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Chairing the Change Advisory Board (CAB)
  • Production of management information
  • Process, policy and standards documentation
  • Liaising with and providing reports to other Service Management functions
  • Ensuring the Service Management tool-set is fit for purpose for Change Management
  • Provide education to the wider business on IT and Operational Change Management processes and benefits
  • Identify process improvements to the change processes, procedures and tools ensuring alignment with best practices to automate/streamline routine/repeat requests
  • Co-ordinates and sets periodic requirements, objectives and targets for Change Management and underpinning technical services in line with evolving business needs
  • Identify and improve operational alignment between various processes
  • Represent the Change process and demonstrate ISO compliance at internal and external audits

Key Requirements:

You must have a proven track record as a Change Manager in an IT/Hosted Service arena and be qualified to at least ITIL Foundation, although qualification to ITIL V3 Intermediate level will be a distinct advantage, as will experience of Operational and Business change activities.

 

  • 3 years’ experience managing IT and Operational changes within an ITIL compliant environment
  • Proven delivery of change process improvement via CSI
  • Delivery of management reporting
  • 3 years proven track record as Change Manager within an IT environment
  • Qualified to ITIL v3 Foundation
  • Highly developed analytical skills with the proven ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and under time constraints while keeping attention to details
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Products
  • Ability to learn about a wide variety of hardware and software system, and business unit mission-critical functionalities and dependencies

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Experience of interfacing with 3rd party CABs
  • Proven track record as Change Manager
  • Qualified to ITIL Lifecycle module – Service Transition or Capability module - Planning, Protection and Optimisation
  • Knowledge of IT hardware and networking
  • Experience of ISO 20000
