Well established and expanding South Huddersfield engineering and manufacturing company servicing the Rail and Electrical Supply Industry have an opening for an Accounts Manager / Bookkeeper to join their successful organisation.
It is anticipated that you will have good all round accounts experience preferably in a manufacturing environment, and part time applicants will be considered to work within their small but friendly team.
Key Duties will include:
- Responsibility for the maintenance of the company accounts system
- Preparing and posting monthly journals.
- Reconciling nominal ledger accounts.
- Reconciliation of bank accounts
- Responsibility for ensuring that supplier invoices are accurately entered onto the accounting system and properly authorised.
- Supplier payments.
- Managing company credit cards.
- Checking direct debit payments.
- Maintaining all financial records and data accurately within systems.
- Preparation of monthly Payroll (using Sage Pay) and corresponding HMRC payments.
- Preparation of quarterly VAT return.
- Assisting in the preparation of the monthly accounts and management reporting.
