Informatica Data Integration Consultant/Senior Consultant - Scotland,

Our client is an established consultancy renowned for their expertise in Data Integration. Due to this reputation they are continuing to grow and are looking for Consultants or Senior Data Integration Consultants to join their organisation who share their passion.

We are looking for experienced Informatica Developers through to Solution Designers who have the communication skills and personal qualities expected by the organisation. Your experience may be limited to purely PowerCenter but you must have the capacity and desire to learn other parts of the Informatica product set. For those with existing skills in IDQ, MDM, IMM, IIR, B2B etc, you can expect these skills to be regularly utilised and enhanced yet further.

As an experienced Consultant or Senior Consultant within the company you will be given the opportunity to work on some of the most cutting edge projects in the field and work alongside the best in the business. Some typical activities a senior consultant would expect to take on include:

• Installation and configuration of the latest version of Informatica
• Leading a delivery team as the scrum master
• Being a technical lead
• To be able to operate on your own and work with advanced features of Informatica
• Be a general guide to best practice data warehouse and Business Intelligence design and architecture
• Be able to learn quickly the extended Informatica product set such as B2B, MDM, Data Quality etc.
• Ability to present and run proof of concept.

The role will be based from your home location but will mainly be based onsite at clients sites in Glasgow and Edinburgh but will also allow a degree of home working. Please note though that this is with a consultancy and whilst every effort is made to keep consultants local to home some travel across the UK is inevitable and must be something you can live with.
