Are you a Kitchen Manager looking for a fantastic new opportunity? We are looking for Kitchen Managers to lead the chef team towards our goal of always delivering food to exceptional standards, delivering excellent customer service in the kitchen to support the front of house operation...and ultimately ensure a fantastic guest experience!

We are just on the outskirts of St Helens, just 400 meters from Langtree Park Rugby Stadium on the main A570 link road. rail and motorway links are located close by.

The Glass Horse is part of the Hungry Horse estate but has the add on of a full Carvery Deck. We are what is termed as a "Shire Horse" due to the size of the operation. the site has 300 covers inside as well as 300 cover externally that are very well used during the summer months. At present we are serving approx 45oo covers per week, this will rise to 7000 during the summer. We are looking for a Head Chef to work along side our existing Kitchen Manager to develop the full potential of the business. We operate two distinct kitchens, The Hungry Horse Kitchen and then the separate Carvery Kitchen taking all that is best of the Standard Horse model and then the best of our sister brand "Farmhouse Inn". we also offer a fabulous range of Cakeaway products and a Salad Bar.

Your Key Responsibilities will be to manage the opening and closing of the kitchen, prepare, cook and present food to company specification, keep the kitchen clean, tidy and hygienic at all times, maintain accurate food ordering and stocking levels, including kitchen materials, manage all kitchen - related office administration and third-party contractors, assist in delivering financial targets set for the house, manage wastage and train and develop staff.
