The Role
As a Credit Control Advisor you will contact customers to chase in all outstanding monies, resolving any payment disputes that have led to non-payment. You will investigate the reasons why customers have failed to pay by direct debit with a view to re-instating their Direct Debit for future payments. You will also investigate any claims of financial difficulties and negotiate sufficient payment plans where appropriate.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 6.00pm.
Responsibilities
•Achieve and exceed targets and KPIS by chasing in all outstanding monies
•Resolve a wide range of payment disputes that have led to non-payment
•Demonstrate a dynamic attitude of relentless determination when resolving direct debit issues
•Provide solutions to customers in financial difficulties and negotiate sufficient payment plans where appropriate
•Ensure accounts are escalated properly to the suspension/ceasing of services, and that customers are aware of the consequences of non-payment throughout this process
Skills and Experience Required
•Confident and professional telephone manner and ability to build rapport
•Experience in collecting debt is advantageous
•Ability to work in a fast paced environment is a must
•Able to negotiate and influence confidently at all levels
•Self motivated, with a positive approach to targets
