The role is extremely varied and as a Student Data Analyst, you will be required to provide accurate data and up-to-the minute interpretation of student information on qualification achievement.

The role will require you to be able to manipulate data and disseminate data effectively to the whole School community. This will include the management of the pro-target data within the School, using ALPS to analyse the performance of A-Level students and to develop a value added system to be used to show the performance of GCSE students.

Another part of the role will be to ensure that all students are correctly enrolled on English and Maths qualifications in order to achieve government funding as part of the Study Programme. Supporting staff within the School in the building and maintenance of staff and student timetables within the EBS system, you will set up and manage the Block Matrix Module and use internal attainment grades to make class sets in GCSE English and Maths. In addition to this, you will accurately analyse external results data from awarding bodies.

With highly developed communication, interpersonal and prioritisation skills, the successful candidate will have a background in management information, accounting, business analysis or any other role which involved data interpretation coupled with strong IT skills. With the ability to work well under pressure and to agreed deadlines, you will be confident in analysing data and presenting to a range of stakeholders and have previous experience of data integrity checking and audit compliance.

Candidates who have a working knowledge of EBS Windows, Pro-Target and EBS Live are highly desirable as are those who have knowledge of Value Added Systems such as ALPS and ALIS to show how learners have improved.
