Account Manager (IT), Bournemouth

A bit about the job...
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to advance their career within the IT Support industry.
You will be joining a dynamic team based in our Bournemouth office working as a member of our Sales & Marketing department.
Your primary location will be our Bournemouth office. You will be required to visit other Modrus facilities and customer locations throughout the UK as required and therefore a Full UK Driving Licence is required, and access to the use of a vehicle.

What are we looking for in our next recruit?
Our account managers have responsibility for a number of named and shared customer accounts working in two key areas:-

Keeping Customers Happy:
•Proactive and regular account management reviews and communication with customers via Lync, Email, Phone and Face to Face.
•Work with Support, Projects and other teams when customers escalate issues to ensure their concerns are met.
•Resolve customer complaints professionally.
•Produce and manage quotes for new services and equipment securing purchase orders and signed Service Agreements as needed.
•Maintain and update Service Agreements.
•Ensure invoicing is correct and resolve customer invoicing queries.
•Help customers to use their technology better.
•Set and manage customer expectations keeping us a step ahead.
Growing Revenue:
•Research customer growth plans and proactively support them using technology to achieve them.
•Introduce new ideas and concepts to help customers improve their use of technology.
•Generate referral leads for new business sales team.
•Liaise with marketing team to create customer stories, testimonials and case studies.
•In addition the following areas are key:
•Spot and resolve issues ahead of time.
•Support the Head of Account Management in managing accounts.
•Shared working with other internal account managers to support lower priority clients.
•Keep detailed records of interactions.
•Communicate proactively and in the right way with colleagues across the business.
•Prioritise work to ensure customers receive prompt responses.




Desired Skills and Experience
•Have previous B2B customer service experience in a technology related field and have previous experience in IT services and support
•Have a good level of IT and technical knowledge
•Have excellent personal organisation with an ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise based on various factors
•Be able to perform well under pressure and solve problems quickly and efficiently
•Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Have good business consultancy skills and be solution and customer focused
•Have the ability to build rapport on the phone with customers at all levels.
•Have the ability to remain calm under pressure and able to work independently
•Be comfortable with taking risks and trying new ideas
•Be able to work within a fast-paced environment
•A full UK driving licence
•Full rights to work in the UK under the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality
Act 2006
•Clear and fully fluent written and spoken English
