Our customers want to speak to people who know exactly what they're talking about. So as a Local Banker (Customer Service and Personal Banking) you'll quickly develop in-depth knowledge of what we offer, from personal banking products to home insurance. Whether you're talking to customers over the phone or in branch, during a pre-booked appointment or on the spur of the moment, you'll be able to recommend the best available products. What's more, you'll have a big role to play in ensuring the whole team provides excellent customer service. You'll coach colleagues, deputise as a line manager, and collaborate with other specialists to bring new opportunities to the branch.
When it comes to customer service, you've got plenty of great ideas - and experience to back them up. You've got excellent communication skills and a flair for managing customer relationships. Crucially, you're also highly motivated, confident working to targets and used to delivering results. As well as taking advantage of in-depth training in our products and services, you're keen to develop leadership skills. You're also willing to work some Saturdays, to meet the needs of the community.
