Group Management Accountant
£Competitive + Car

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the largest Skoda retailer in the UK. With seven sites across Yorkshire, including a dual franchise site with SEAT, the company is privately owned, employs over 200 people and will have a turnover in excess of £90m in 2015. Following impressive organic and acquisitive growth the organisation is seeking a highly talented and motivated individual to join the Finance team at Head Office on the outskirts of Leeds.

As a qualified accountant (ACMA, ACA, ACCA or AAT/QBE) responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

The preparation of detailed management accounts for up to seven sites including commentary
Variance analysis & balance sheet reconciliations
Cash flow forecasting
Continuous critique of existing controls & processes across group
Involvement in annual budgeting process
Provide support to the Group Finance Controller during year-end statutory audit and in production of Statutory Accounts
Deputise for the Group FC and have regular involvement with the new Group FD
Supporting site Accounts team members and Dealer Principals

To be considered:

A qualified accountant (ACMA, ACA, ACCA or AAT/QBE)
Proven track record of delivering accurate information within strict timeframes
The desire to deeply investigate issues in order to deliver practical solutions
Very articulate with the confidence to challenge people and process
Energetic, dynamic and with a will to succeed and pursue excellence in all aspects of their role
A great communicator at all levels, affable and team focussed
Strong Microsoft skills
Automotive retail experience is not essential
