A Trainee Accountant is required to join a fast growing importer and distributor of home and garden products.Key Responsibilities:
o Posting to Sage Line 50
o Credit Control
o Preparation of:
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT returns
- Monthly management reports
- Assist with:
o Monthly management accounts
o Preparation of budgets & forecasts
o Ad hoc projects
The successful applicant must be:
- Self-driven, results-orientated with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Able to communicate effectively with other employees, overseas offices, customers & suppliers.
- Have at least 2 years accounts experience.
- Organised in their approach and able to maintain a high level of attention to detail when working to tight deadlines.
- Ideally at least part qualified AAT. Training support for further qualifications will be provided.
Computer Skills:
- Excel, Word, internet and email.
