Location:- Various prisons throughout Wales & HMP Stoke Heath
Contract:- Permanent
Hours:- Full Time:- 35 hours per week (part time considered)
Salary:- £20,213 ~ £22,892 per annum (Full Time)
We are looking for people who would like to be involved in this new government funded project that will be providing a Through the Gates service that aims to reduce reoffending. The successful applicants will be required to provide a full resettlement service to prisoners within prisons and provide for this group, leading up to and on release from prison.
Applicants must have a good understanding of the issues faced by prisoners on release from prison, and what support options can be provided for housing, employment, financial support and training and some understanding of the other issues that can affect successful rehabilitation such as health, substance misuse etc. Above all, you must have a drive to support this group of people at a pivotal
time in their lives to help them to turn their lives around.
