Landscape Maintenance Operative

Client is looking for a landscape maintenance operative for a permanent job to work with a reputable and expanding landscape and maintenance contractor working in various contracts in and around the central belt of Scotland.

Candidates must be looking for a permanent position and be looking to join a company with the view to developing their career over a long term basis.

Candidates must have PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates and have experience of landscaping and maintenance work in small, medium size and large landscaping maintenance contracts. Jobs vary from factor work to grass cutting to planting and grounds maintenance. The job will involve paperwork and communicating face to face with clients. Candidates would be expected to problem solve and represent the company in a professional manner.

Candidates must have drivers license and use of grass cutting machinery would be an advantage as would a trailer license.

Hours are from 8-4.30 Monday to Friday with extended shift patterns over the summer months. Job is to start immediately and the yard is based in Cumbernauld.

Salary ranges from £14k to £17k depending upon experience.
