A local school in Camden is seeking to appoint an experienced Science Teacher who can teach Key stage 3 and 4 including triple science, for immediate start until then end of the school year!

The Job: The ideal cadidate will be commitment to comprehensive and inclusive education. Ambition, vision and drive with outstanding communication and behaviour management skills with outstanding classroom practice and subject knowledge. A passion to improve opportunities for young people is essential.
ICT is a central thrust of whole school development and high levels of competence are essential.

The School: A mixed, comprehensive school of over 1250 pupills was re-built in 2004 and now provides state-of-the-art facilities for students as well as for the community in a rich programme of community activities and extended services. This is a popular school, well regarded by the local community, which continues to make significant improvement in all areas. Exam results have continued to improve and projections for this year do the same. Attainment is now in line with national average with rates of progress significantly above the national average. The science department achieved their best ever GCSE results this year.
The most recent Ofsted inspection judged the school to be 'good', with many areas judged as outstanding and is now very hard to become the outstanding school.

All applicants are subject to an enahnced DBS with thorough reference and vetting checks.
