Our client runs large outsource contracts for enterprises and also develop their own cutting edge customer engagement software uniquely combining non-social channels (e.g. Webchat, email, SMS) with social channels (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc,) and as such our web development teams work hard to ensure we’re always creating more innovative, more engaging and creative software that are completely unique in any marketplace. Our client base consists of large global enterprise sized businesses, premiership sporting clubs as well as a healthy spread of SMEs.
We have a healthy appetite for new technologies and frameworks outside the Microsoft stack which is driven by our development teams but our core technologies are ASP.NET C# and JavaScript.
Your work will be seen by millions of consumers and used by some of the world’s largest organisations and as one of our web developers you’ll be involved in the creative thinking behind the design and development of our exciting product releases on our core and white label websites. We like to involve our web developers in the initial creative processes.
We are committed to lean methods of working encompassing the benefits of Kanban, Agile and Scrum for our projects where you will be involved and regularly asked to contribute your thoughts for continuous reflection and improvement on the processes and practices within the team and wider department.
In return will give you the opportunity to learn the best engineering practices such as clean code, TDD and SOLID principles from our development team.

Skills
At least 5 years Industry experience of commercial web software development.
Strong Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET and JavaScript
Good knowledge and experience of MVC, WebApi and JavaScript
Strong knowledge and experience of document based databases (MongoDB is used)
You should be proactive and great at problem solving
The ability to learn quickly and master new skills
A good understanding of OOP, clean code principles and design patterns
A keen appetite for self-development and investing in your own knowledge
You need to be a great communicator and have solid interpersonal skills
Nice to have’s
A degree in computing science or related subject is an advantage but not compulsory
HTML5 experience and associated APIs
Experience of iterative/incremental development processes
