Sales Exec - United Kingdom

This international/Wall Street listed software co is a leading player in the BI (Business
Intelligence) space. Recruitment is high on the agenda & in particular we are looking
for multilingual sales execs to work for its EMEA operations near Reading in Berkshire (excellent links for Thames Valley/M4/M3 motorways & west London).


The Role


Currently looking to recruit an outstanding Business Development Representative for its EMEA sales team - with responsibility for the UK.


The role of the Business Development Representative is to identify and generate sales opportunities to support Account Managers and Channel Partners. The role is responsible for making outbound calls to prospects to generate and qualify these sales opportunities. You will not need to close the deal over the phone but will be measured on the volume of opportunities discovered and passed to the sales team and also the quality of these opportunities discovered. This is what we call a Lead Generation role.


Key Responsibilities

Prospecting, lead generation, business development and setting appointments for Accounts Executives; to contribute towards an annual Revenue Target.
Collaborate with Regional Directors and Account Executives to win new opportunities and
grow the business in the UK
Track and manage prospects through Salesforce.com
Build rapport and identify goals and objectives of clients, qualify timeframes, decision
making process, and key needs.
Participate in team meetings, networking, tradeshow events, and activities to grow the
business.
Manage a prospect base consisting of specific target accounts.
Provide reports on all business development activities.
Initiate the first phase of the sales cycle, create awareness, interest identify the
goal that can lead to a successful sale.

Qualifications & Experience

Ideally degree level education.
Business level proficiency in English
Ideally, proven track record of experience and success in a software sales company but will consider track record in other industries.
Proven track record in a lead generation environment or telesales environment
Proven track record of a Business Intelligence vendor sales process is preferable BUT
not essential.

In return for your sales prowess you can expect to be rewarded with a very attractive salary package which includes a very competitive base of up to £30,000 + £10,000 bonus/variable element + benefits package.
