Job Elements: -

• Support worldwide sales strategy to increase market share and avoid takeover of follow-up projects by competition.
• Development and control of the worldwide customer related pricing strategy.
• Responsible for up to date analysis of customer opportunities / targets / won business.
• Up to date Analysis of the competitors during quotation process (Strategy, Prices, information etc )
• Lead quotation team through RFQ phase for customer quotation.
• Implement the strategy and control target achievement to support customer and company targets (cost, quality, timing) by projects, Targets cost incl. Capex, cost reduction programs, (e.g. Six Sigma).
• Ensure contract terms for new projects are negotiated to maximize the benefit
• Control and actualization of project costs.
• Responsible for offer/order tracking
• Avoid any commercial risk during the offering phase according to target fixed with both Team/Headquarters and local.
• Control and improve customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for the serial & Aftermarket price negotiations according to target
• Ensure customer contacts kept up to date with company innovations and developments.

What the company are seeking in the successful candidate:

• Min. of 5 years of Sales or Programme Management Experience in automotive industry
• Ideally higher education within an engineering subject
• Program management knowledge e.g. Program Management Road Map-Goals /Responsibilities/ tasks
• Strong computer skills sufficient to manage all related commercial & technical computer programmes including preparation of Sales Budgets, Forecasts, Strategies & “day to day” Reports such as Microsoft office
• Strong Sales, Negotiation, Communication (verbal and written), Presentation & preparation skills
• Good analytical and planning skills to ensure a clear understanding of the performance of the area/channel and to develop an ongoing plan to provide continuous improvement
• A clear understanding of Contractual Conditions relating to the Sales and Purchase of Goods and a commercial understanding of business practices including margin, profit and basic financial procedures
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally
