Software / Web Application Developer

Pulman Group require a Software / Web Application Developer to develop its bespoke automotive business intelligence software. Pulman are a top Volkswagen Group retailer with sites in Durham and Sunderland. With over 160 people across our 4 locations, we are truly one big Pulman family. Job Specification:

You’ll be a recent Graduate or have relevant commercial experience with the responsibility of developing and supporting our business critical bespoke web applications utilising ASP.NET, C# and Microsoft SQL.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the full development lifecycle, including gathering requirements, collaborating on the design of new functionality, development, testing, releasing to clients whilst also providing training and support.

The ideal candidate will come from a strong academic background with a desire to learn new technologies. Reporting to the Communications Manager you will have the flexibility of being based both at home and when required at one of our retail sites in Durham & Sunderland. We're looking for an enthusiastic team player who thrives in a fast paced environment. You will become an integral part of the in house communications team, providing first class development and support for our web based application.

Key Skills:

Experience developing for the web using an Object Oriented Language (preferably ASP.NET) and an RDBMS (preferably SQL Server) commercially or in and academic environment.

You will be able to demonstrate an ability to adapt to new languages and approaches.

This role attracts a starting salary of £30,000 per annum plus a company car, laptop and mobile phone. A separate bonus scheme is also available giving an OTE of £33,000 per annum.
