We are recruiting for childcare assessors for a fantastic Early Years Training Organisation based in Scotland, preferably West Scotland, Glasgow area due to the demands of the role, however other areas in Scotland such as Edinburgh and Aberdeen would be a possibility as long as candidates were willing to travel.
The role will involve:
•To Be Responsible for the delivery and assessment of training within the MA framework in Early Years Care and Education
•Ensuring candidate information is stored correctly and meets the Data Protection Act 1989
•Reviewing, developing and implementing Training policies and procedures
•Ensuring training sites meet the required standards
•Liaising with Internal Verifier on a regular basis, portfolio sampling and preparation for External Verification visits
•Planning and delivering CPD training
•To liaise and build relationships with external agencies
•Promote the training company at all times
•Maintaining the quality of the apprenticeship programme
•To have a sound knowledge of the assessment strategies for Levels 2, 3 and 5 in early years sector
•To assist and support the Regional Training and Development Manager on a day to day basis
•To ensure the successful delivery of apprenticeships/outcomes in line with contractual requirements
•To maintain own CPD training to ensure your knowledge in the Early Years is current and reflects to changes on both a Local & National Level and also Regulatory
•Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS and other relevant guidance
•Be able to use our e-learning portfolio system
Key Competencies/Qualifications/Experience
•Ability to demonstrate sector experience and competence having worked in a childcare establishment
•To be an excellent role model to our Trainees
•Excellent communication skills
•Be able to work to agreed timescales
•To hold a valid / clean driving license as travelling to your candidates will be an essential part of this role
•Good organisational skills
•Good communicator
•I.T literate
•Team player with strong leadership capabilities
•Business development skills
•A1/V1 or equivalent
•PTTLS or above
•Minimum of a level 3 qualification in Early Years
•Experience working in the childcare industry
•Hold a full UK Driving License and have access to a vehicle
