Established for over 40 years this specialist manufacturer supply their products to a range of blue chip clients world wide. They have a world wide reputation for the quality of their products and service and have plans to continue their growth of the business. Due to a forthcoming retirement they are looking to recruit a well rounded Production / Design Engineer.

Working for a close knit family run business you will be involved in multiple areas of the business. You will therefore be responsible for the design and development of products using steel, aluminium, rubber and plastic to produce flexible couplings and anti-vibration mountings. You will be involved in the design and development of new products, design of jigs and fixtures, CADCam, programming CNCs, tooling design and even working hands on testing products within the machine shop.

This role would therefore ideally suit an Engineer who has a background within CNC Programming, CADCAM and has moved into Design and is looking to utilise their skills and join a well established company, where you will work in excellent conditions and be well looked after.

The Role;

* CNC Programming
* CADCAM
* Design and development of new and existing products
* Testing of products
* CadCAM (Solidworks / SolidCam) - training can be given
* Using CNC and Manual Machines
* Working Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm.

The Person;

* Must have experience of CNC Programming
* Must have experience of manual machining on lathes and mills
* Must have design experience
* Must have hands on experience
* Must have experience of designing for manufacture
* Must be happy to work on other areas within the machine shop
