Production Engineers Needed
Our client, a worldwide household name, is looking for 3 extra production engineers to work at their site based in Derby.
In this role you will give engineering / technical support to the assembly groups in the areas of complex electro/mechanical machines, assembly tools, and process design. This will include the following activities:
-Asess existing process to meet challenging quality, cost, safety and productivity targets
-Elimination of defects through root cause problem solving
-Standardisation of process to ensure Safe, high quality and efficient process
These activities will be a mix of daily problem solving to achieve the speedy remedy of production issues, and longer term projects (6~12 months) dealing with larger scale challenges.
To be successful you must have experience in a fast moving electro-mechanical manufacturing industry, preferably automotive tier 1 or 2.
Other industry experience (chemical process/food/etc) must be backed up with examples of problem solving of electro-mechanical issues.
