We are currently recruiting for an Maintenance Technician to provide a highly skilled service to maintain the machinery / facility and associated services to ensure the safe continuity of the business. As part of a multi skilled team you will be involved in the planned preventative maintenance systems as well as reactionary intervention when required.
Key responsibilities:
• Maintain all production equipment and machinery within the business to include high tech CNC.
• Maintain the building fabric and employee facilities to a high standard.
• Carry out PPM as instructed on all utility plant / air conditioning /heating and associated services.
• Able to install new plant and machinery.
• Have relevant working knowledge of all maintenance trades.
• Must be able to understand engineering and technical drawing.
• Work with all other departments to maximise the cost saving and efficiency opportunities.
• Maintain and update all relevant records and reports.
• Perform any other tasks required to assist in dealing with maintenance and facilities matters.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Mechanical/electrical or multi skilled apprenticeship
• HNC or equivalent in the engineering disciplines
• Conversant with all related H&S regulations
• Qualified in electrical factory regulations
• Computer literate
• Conscientious and reliable
• Totally flexible
• Be a good communicator
• Must be capable of working unsupervised
• Be prepared to travel and work in other facilities when requested
