Servoca Nursing and Care is a healthcare recruitment company who specialise in supplying temporary and permanent nurses, healthcare assistants and support workers to a variety of public and private clients across the UK. We are currently looking to expand our team of experienced healthcare assistants to work within the Manchester area. SPECIFIC DUTIES Deliver a high standard of individualised person centred care to the service users, promoting their equality and dignity at all times Observing each service users needs and reporting, on a regular basis, to the office. Reporting to the office immediately, any concerns or change with regards to the customers well being. Have individual responsibility, for the personal needs of the service users. The provision of personal care (dressing, washing, toileting, bathing showering and feeding etc.) To prompt customers to take their medication as detailed in the care plan, but never actually give medication to any service user, unless you have completed specific training. Social duties include talking, reading to service users, taking service users for walks, assisting with shopping and other recreational activities and helping to maintain contact with family, friends and the local community. Creating a supportive homely atmosphere where service users can achieve maximum independence. To have an awareness of service users medical needs in consultation with the office, GP or Nurse as appropriate. To record all relevant details of duties, comments on the service users condition and any other relevant information in the report book and to notify the office accordingly. To participate in and contribute to a team in the provision of care to service users by operating a flexile method of working. To uphold and promote the Company at all times by not bringing the Company into disrepute, to always act in a responsible and professional manner. To always wear the uniform provided, where appropriate, and maintain a smart, clean appearance at all times. To always observe the Company s policies and procedures a report back to the Senior Care Worker and or Branch Nurse Manager and concerns. To attend training courses as required and when requested to do so. Where appropriate to attend periodic individual and or group supervision sessions. To always be aware of and observe professional limitations.. To adhere to the Code of Conduct at all times.
