Professional Youth Worker - Targeted Youth Engagement Team 2 full time positions Grade JNC points 19-22 Salary: GBP29,163 - GBP31,563 pa In Enfield we set the bar high. Our children and young deserve excellent services that improve outcomes. Our work is on the frontline of early intervention and prevention provision within the Borough and makes a contrubtion to improving outcomes for children and young people. We are seeking high calibre professionals who can demonstrate the ability to; undertake a combination of intensive one to one work with vulnerable young people and the delivery of targeted group work and educational programmes. This will include mentoring, advocacy and estate based outreach work, and targeted youth programmes. You will have a strong track record working with other professionals as part of multi-agency arrangements to protect children from significant harm. The work will be on the frontline of early intervention and prevention and make a contribution to improving outcomes for vulnerable children and young people. You will have knowledge and experience of curriculum planning and evaluation regarding planning accredited programmes, evaluating learning /achievement / progress, and the contribution of the work to improving overall outcomes for children and young people. Skill, knowledge and experience regarding leading and managing staff to deliver high performing high quality outcome focused services. Specifically providing induction, direction, supervision, appraisal, training and managing performance. Experience must include the use of HR policies and procedures. A professional qualification in youth work, informal education or community education will be required.
