SAP PS Specialist
SAP PS Specialist is required to join a team developing and maintaining a global business critical application portfolio. Reporting directly into the SAP lead, the SAP PS Specialist will develop continuous improvement work packages for the PS area of the system.
Responsibilities:
Delivery
-Ensure all applications are supported and help drive improvements to the underlying platform and framework
-Responsible for delivery of L2 Support and Change Request Development on time and on budget
-Build relationships with core users to ensure support and work effectively with all areas of the business
-Respond to incidents and problems in a timely and accurate manner and ensure that SLAs are met
-Accountable for all queries regarding the configuration and customisation within your area of expertise
-Identify internal and external/client product, documentation and process deficiencies and make suggestions for improvement
-Provide timely updates and responses to support requests
-Verifies the priority and severity of support requests
-Conduct root cause analysis and accurately document the reported issues and resolutions
-Ensure accurate categorisation of incidents and problems
-Deep understanding and gravitas to challenge the "why", not just the "how"
-Provide support and mentoring to resolve problems escalated from lower-levels of expertise within the organisation
-Liaise with 3rd parties on issue resolution as required
Change/Project Development
-Work with clients to define requirements for enhancement requests
-BAU Change Request Development and Complex Enhancements as required
-Reviews applicable 3rd Party products and activities
-Provides training plans and needs for a Client Support Team
-Act as a Project Lead for large application development
Business Development
-Work with the SAP Transformation Leads to identify and implement new solutions within the business
-Identify areas for improvement in IS Applications
-Define and implement cost effective solutions to business problems
-Maintain healthy, thriving relationships with key stakeholders
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
-SAP PS Configuration essential
-SAP FICO Configuration desired
-Accounting qualification desired
-Logical approach to developing solutions to complex business issues
-Good understanding of key application development concepts
-Effective communication skills
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
-Experience in mentoring junior team members in terms of technical knowledge, application of that knowledge and output quality
