Site Manager - Experience is Conservation buildings is essential.

As Site Manager, you will be capable of managing the day to day operations on site, have good people and communication skills, and encourage a teamwork approach as well as controlling & managing the supply chain.

You will be required to understand and work to company policies & procedures have good contractual and budgetary knowledge as well as the ability to plan and programme works to meet specific deadlines.

As the Site Manager you will be capable of the following duties;

· Supervise all labour as necessary and coordinate the activities of trades and subcontractors involved on the site so that all operations are performed efficiently, safely and in accordance with the construction programme and the quality and cost standards

· Ensure that all work is kept on programme and that all the specified details are adhered to

· Health and safety requirements must be adhered to at all times in accordance with company procedures and current legislation

· Identify and obtain relevant information in order to plan and execute the work

· Implement and adhere to appropriate environmental controls and guidelines

· Establish and maintain site set up and welfare facilities

· Review and action supply chain performance in relation to objectives

· Deputise for contract/project manager at project/progress meetings

· Have good IT knowledge & programming skills

The successful Site Manager will have the following attributes;

· HNC/HND in Construction or equivalent

· Appropriate CSCS card

· Substantial relevant site experience

· Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation

· Ability to work in a team environment contributing across a project, site or area

· Good management skills, with the ability to motivate individuals and teams

· Good planning and time management skills; able to manage activities simultaneously within compromising on standards and quality

· Ability to ensure standards and specifications are met

· Sound knowledge of construction practises and standards
