Support Worker | Young People | Cranleigh

We are currently looking for a number of Support Workers in the Cranleigh area to work with young people who have challenging behaviour and varying forms of learning disabilities. Available positions are on a Full Time, Permanent basis and salaries will sit between 18,,000 per year. There will also be a generous benefits package and an opportunity to pick up additional NVQ qualifications. No experience is necessary but successful candidates will be expected to carry out the following duties Provide supervision and attention to young people through direct care as required Assist in the administration of medication Complete day to day paperwork Assist in the compilation and conduction of a comprehensive timetable of activity to enhance quality of life for young people Ensure rooms are kept clean and tidy Build and maintain good relationships with young people and other members of staff whilst maintaining professionalism Do everything possible to uphold a safe, clean environment for Young people Learn about service user s individual needs and requirements Ensure medical needs are met at all times Support individuals who illustrate challenging behaviours, safely and supportively in order to advocate the correct demeanour You will be required to work on a flexible nature between earlies and lates.
