We are looking for an experienced Non Functional Test Manager to work alongside one of our top 5 UK telco operator clients, providing the management of all Non Functional requirements for a large transformation programme on a long term project alongside various Non Functional teams with multiple suppliers and offshore teams.

The resource will need to report to Programme Test Manager and dotted reporting onto Programme Manager/Board as well.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and Subject Matter Expertise in the area of Non Functional testing
• Prepare on overarching Non Functional test strategy for the programme
• Ensure compliance of all deliverables being produced by various Non Functional teams
• Track and manage the progress/strategy of all various Non Functional teams involved in testing the Non Functional requirements
• Review the documents - strategy/plan/deliverables in general being provided by all suppliers working on Non Functional testing
• Prepare time and cost estimates, identifie and mitigate project risks, plan the full project life cycle and recommend approaches to improve time to market
• Provide Non Functional testing oversight, metrics tracking, and issue resolution
• Participate in continuous improvement by contributing best practices, enforcing standards and improving processes
• Maintain relationships and collaborate with other domains including architecture, business analysis, infrastructure, quality control and security

Key Skills and Experience:

• Extensive knowledge and experience of Non Functional Test Management
• Excellent knowledge of the entire Non Functional testing life cycle

Extensive experience in the following areas:

• Performance and capacity
• Availability, scalability, upgradability, maintainability,
• Data retention/protection
• Monitoring and reporting
• Analytics
• Accessibility and usability
• Infrastructure operations
• Website compliance
• Deep technical knowledge of LoadRunner, JMeter, Accessibility tools
• Flexibility, energy and ability to work well with others in a virtual, geographically dispersed team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to IT and business leaders
• Demonstrated ability to stay current with testing(Non Functional) best practices, existing and emerging technology platforms and industry trends
