A very well established consultancy who have developed an excellent reputation in the eCommerce space are looking for an experienced consultant to work on some of the largest technology projects in the market.

My client is a very well known consultancy who have formed incredibly strong partnerships with the major eCommerce platform providers (ATG/WebSphere/Hybris) and are delivering some of the largest technology projects in the market with household name retailers.

They recently received significant accolades at the Hybris Summit and have a project portfolio worth more than GBP300m.

This area of the business is growing significantly and they are looking for experienced, client facing, consultants who can identify and implement the most innovative eCommerce solutions. You will be involved throughout the project life cycle and play a key role at the requirements gathering and functional design phase.

The successful eCommerce consultant will most likely have the following skills and experience;

• You will have previous experience of working within a high-traffic E-commerce/retail environment, either directly or as a consultant
• Strong experience of project work and IT led change
• Strong problem-solving, statistical and analytical skills
• Excellent leadership potential, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Experience of working in an eCommerce delivery team
• Ability to work with (and manage) key stakeholders, both internal and client side
• Java enterprise solutions on the ATG/Hybris/WebSphere platforms
• Business Analysis: Business Requirements Analysis, Functional and Technical Design.
• System Architecture: Distributed Web Systems Architecture, J2EE, SOA.
