Brighton based IT Services and Solutions organisation are currently looking for a 1st line Support Engineer to join their fast paced technical team. Within this role you will be working on a busy help desk and assisting with the delivery of support and project work at client's sites.
The role provides a great opportunity to work closely with and be mentored by their experienced technical and sales team whilst supporting existing clients and helping to deliver installations and projects. You will need to be organised, keen to progress, well presented and a strong communicator.
Job responsibilities
Provide 1st line technical support; answering support queries via phone, email, and face to face whilst attending clients site.
Deploying solutions at client's site working independently or as part of a team.
Provide pro-active assistance in resolving or escalating more complex calls.
Meeting required performance targets
Skills/Attributes Required
Previous support experience (1 year)
Proven PC hardware installation and configuration experience.
Excellent telephone manner.
Good technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and Networking Principles
Full Driving Licence
Optional experience and qualifications
MCP certification would be desirable.
Microsoft Windows Server.
