Person Specification - Performing Arts / Drama Teacher, South West London
To be successful, you will be effective Drama Teacher who has experience of working with SEN and EAL pupils and experience working in an inner city school. We want to recruit a teacher who has the skills to use their imaginative approach to ensure all their students are reaching their learning objectives and enjoying performing for their peers. The school wants to meet applicants who have an optimistic and proactive teaching approach, planning and delivering fun, interactive Drama lessons which will inspire children for years to come.
About the Role - Drama Teacher / Performing Arts Teacher
As a Drama Teacher you will be teaching and working as a crucial part of the industrious Arts faculty. You will have the responsibility of making the most of the ample training and CPD opportunities and enjoying added TLR and more responsibilities if you choose to accept a new role as Lead Teacher of Performing Arts. Day-to-day, you will be working with all the latest equipment and resources for creating sets and props for acting. Part of your role will include reaching your potential by working closely with a charismatic, Ofsted Outstanding Drama Teacher who will act as your mentor. The school will schedule you mixed ability classes in KS3 and KS4 and allow you to teach the eager minds of A-Level students.
