Store Manager

Lok’nStore, the fast growing self storage business, has been established for 20 years and we are now one of the biggest self storage companies in the UK, with 25 stores across the South East of England.

Store Manager Position available in a large self-storage facility in Harlow. This position would suit a driven individual with previous retail or sales management experience.  

As a Store Manager you will be enthusiastic and business focused. 

You will be expected to perform a number of tasks; some of the key tasks are shown below:

- Management of the sales team, developing a sales culture within the centre

- Responsible for training and motivating a small team whose key focus will be to drive store sales

- Dealing with administration and ensuring all standards are maintained and ensuring all company procedures are adhered to

- To welcome customers & prospective customers, ensuring that all enquiries and quotations are completed in a professional and friendly manner, in line with agreed Mystery Shop standards. – Personally and by all team members

- To communicate effectively with all members of the centre team

- Plan and communicate rota’s to ensure full cover of the centre at all times, including ensuring adequate cover at weekends and allowing for marketing activities to take place

You will be

- A strong team leader, having gained experience at a similar level in retail or sales

- Driven to succeed and highly motivated to achieve your goals. You will possess excellent selling and communication skills.

- Computer literate with GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English A-C

- Full driving licence is desirable but not essential.

Hours                   

37.5 Hours, 5 days out of 7, includes some weekend work
