WHAT WILL YOUR ROLE BE?

Our Senior Developers work on a range of projects for different customers, with durations ranging from a few weeks to over a year. As part of a project team, you will support the technical lead in delivering the full software life cycle, including requirements capture, design, development, testing and deployment. Each project provides opportunities for using different technologies, tackling new business problems and taking different roles and responsibilities within the team.

WHO DO WE NEED?

We're looking for someone with a solid background in software development, with an emphasis on Microsoft and web technologies, who is comfortable working in an agile team environment and likes to learn and stretch themselves. The agile teams are using SCRUM delivery and co-locate with the customer product owner.

You will have excellent communication skills and a mixture of the following:

  • .NET development using C# and ASP.NET MVC
  • Web Front End technologies (eg, HTML, JavaScript, Angular)
  • Relational databases such as SQL Server
  • Open Source frameworks and tools (eg, Spring.NET, Castle Windsor, NHibernate)
  • Test-Driven Development (TDD)

The following skills/knowledge are also desirable:

  • Knowledge of User Experience design (UX)
  • SharePoint and CRM (premise and online)
  • Office 365
  • Designing systems for modern cloud infrastructures using DevOp and WebOp methodologies
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code such as DSC, Chef or puppet
  • Azure PaaS and IaaS
