This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior or Graduate programmer to join a small and unique Gaming company where you will have the chance to develop and grow with the business. This is originally on a trial contract basis with the view to extending or go permanent.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the technical lead, you will:

1. Work in C# and Unity3D to develop game systems for a variety of platforms.
2. Write code for all areas of our games, from gameplay and user interface to special effects and plugins.
3. Learn new skills, languages and technologies whenever the project requires.
4. Meet complex requirements with creative and elegant solutions.
5. Collaborate effectively with other members of the programming team.
6. Work with project leads and clients to ensure technical goals are realistic and achievable.
7. Contribute to team design discussions, bringing new ideas and enhancing others'.

What We Want

We're after an ambitious, talented candidate with:

1. Degree level education in a relevant discipline.
2. A sharp mind and great problem solving ability.
3. Solid game programming skills and experience working with other peoples' code.
4. Previous experience with the Unity engine.
5. Experience working in C# and strong object-oriented principles.
6. Confidence in moving to new languages and platforms, and eager to take on new challenges.
7. Strong time-management skills, able to meet deadlines both with and without pressure.
8. A passion for games and interactive media.

Optional Extras

You don't need any of these to apply, but they will plus' your application.

1. Experience developing for games consoles.
2. Experience developing for a variety of mobile devices.
3. Skills in shader programming.
