Science Teacher General

Uteach presents a fantastic opportunity for three science teachers to teach in an outstanding school located in Middlesex. This position is for a September 2015 start date and will last, initially, until the end of the academic year with the possibility of extension. The school caters for 750 pupils aged between 11 to 18 years and achieved Academy status in April 2014.

Ofsted have rated this school as "Outstanding" in every aspect of its most recent inspection and has maintained this status for the past three years. In November 2007, the school was deemed a Specialist School in Mathematics and ICT. The school is a fairly new building after opening its doors to students in September 2006. The building is modern and filled with extensive facilities inside the school and on the grounds including large assembly hall used for performances and sports events, running track and outdoor sports pitches. Leadership and management within the school is extremely effective and inspiring. There is an unrelenting focus on enabling all students to fulfil their potential and there is a shared vision of excellence, aspiration and love of learning throughout the school in both students and staff. The outstanding curriculum is tailored closely to students' needs and is continuously adapted. Staff know the students extremely well, monitor their attainment very closely and provide customised support enabling students to achieve outstandingly well. Members of the school feel very privileged to be associated with it and students are proud to be enrolled. The school is very conveniently located for ease of access to London City Centre. There are good public transportation links nearby meaning only a short 40 minute journey into the country's capital city and London Heathrow Airport is only a 20 minute drive. There are also many attractive features and points of interest in the local area including Wembley Stadium, Royal Botanic Gardens and Windsor Castle.

To be eligible for this position you must be a qualified or newly qualified teacher.
