BI Developer, Business Intelligence Developer

BI Analyst developer needed by this global luxury fashion retailer to be based in their West London offices.

In the role you will:

*Design and implement BI (Business Intelligence) & CPM (Corporate Performance Management) solutions
*Implement and maintain complex data loading procedures using Microsoft Packages (SSIS)
*Implement and maintain complex reports/dashboards
*Identify opportunities for future development; research into products and technologies that will enhance the function or performance of systems

Core skills needed for the role:

*Analytical skills, able to understand business requirements and design and delivery solutions
*Previous experience in designing and implementing BI (Business Intelligence) solutions
*Experience in debugging, monitoring and troubleshooting BI solutions
*Good understanding of relational database design principles
*Knowledge of advanced SQL Server programming including stored procedures, triggers and user defined functions
*Previous experience in developing Microsoft SSIS packages or other tools to implement Data Warehouse ETL processes
*Ability to multi-task; with a talent for handling several different projects concurrently
*Demonstrate an ability to accurately estimate and scope development work

List specific professional qualifications and/or experience desirable:
*Basic knowledge of SQL Server administration (data and transaction log files settings, backup and restore)
*Knowledge of the BOARD MIT toolkit solutions or Tableau

Desirable Skills:
*Knowledge of Finance Budgeting & Forecasting, P&L processes
