Lync 3rd Line Support Specialist - Exeter - PERM - GBP30-GBP40K base DOE + Bonus + Training + O/T

My client are a well known and respected Microsoft Gold Partner, they currently require commercially-experienced 3rd line project engineers or consultants who are able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills and form part of a dynamic IT systems integration and support team supplying industry-standard technology solutions to organisations of all sizes, in the UK and across the globe. The client have an industry recognised training centre onsite which all of the engineers can utilise to certify to the highest level.

The successful candidate will be experienced in managing client's long term IT strategies and providing 3rd line support to client's IT teams, specifically around Microsoft Lync issues.

A good understanding of server, voice and data systems implementation and associated project management methodology is essential. Other work will involve both remote and on-site fault diagnosis as part of our ongoing support commitments.

*Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP)
*Microsoft Windows Server deployment, migration & configuration
*Microsoft Exchange deployment, migration & configuration experience
*Microsoft Lync deployment, migration & configuration experience
*Microsoft Active Directory deployment, migration & configuration experience
*Microsoft server and desktop applications
*Microsoft IIS, Forefront, SCCM and SSL certificate deployment and configuration
*VMware Certified Professional (VCP) in vSphere
*Hardware installation, configuration & support
*LAN, WAN or WLAN deployment, migration and support
*Detailed understanding of the TCP/IP protocol, routing and NAT
*Cisco and Avaya solutions deployment, configuration and support
*Server and storage hardware installation, configuration and support
*Dell, HP, IBM and other major IT vendor accreditation
