Salary: GBP26,000 - GBP30,000

Location: Oxford

Job Role & Responsibilities:

My Client are seeking a technically literate, highly motivated Linux/Windows Administrator to provide high quality 1st/2nd Line Support to staff in the European Offices. This is a new position and will evolve over time with the input of you.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

  • First & second line support for European offices utilising IT ticketing system for issue resolution or escalation.
  • New PC deployment
  • Hardware and software support for existing estate
  • Providing support to Engineering in provisioning network & virtualisation resources to aid product development and testing.

Technical Skills

  • Windows (7+) and Windows Server 2008R2+
  • Redhat Enterprise/CentOS Linux
  • Solid grounding in core networking technologies such as Layer 2 switching, VLANs, DNS and DHCP.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory for end user support such as password resets, group memberships etc.
  • VMWare vSphere
  • Microsoft Exchange 2010
